The Heol Senni Stone
The Heol Senni stone is marked on the ordanance survey map but other than
that is unamed and not well known. It is by no means a large stone only
standing around two feet high. The impression I got when I visited the
stone is of a small grave stone. As you can see from the photos above
there is a flat slab in front of the stone. It faces down a hillside just
above the road to Pontsenni (Sennibridge) in the Brecon Beacons. I know
very little about this stone the only reason I visited it was because it
was marked on the map. There are a number of stones poking out fo the
ground as you approach the stone but it's hard to determine whether these
are naturally occuring or artificial. I dont think the stone itself is a
naturally occuring stone as you can see from the photos above someone has
clearly planted it on end.
